I met Tina and Josh through my wife, who in turn met the couple through her brother whom studied business marketing together at NMMU.  When I asked my wife how long Tina and Josh had been together, she simply answered “forever”.  It could almost count as a lifetime, considering the two of them have lived in two different countries together and have since made a new life in the UK.  Their wedding day was beautiful and Tina looked amazing.  She really did spend lots of time focusing on the small details which I hope I captured to the tee.  I must say, that apart from this being one of the most memorable weddings to date, the speeches must have been the best that I have ever heard, and I think my say counts as I’ve been to a lot more weddings that your average joe.  Well done to my wife Megan from Confetti Events who once again planned a spectacular wedding.

I only got to meet Aloysius and Zenodeen on their wedding day.  When I met Zeno I could see she was extremely nervous, however, ready as can be.  I’ve never been to the bride getting ready where masks, french manicure “tips” (as my wife would say) and false eye lashes were all being put on a mere two hours before the wedding.  Needless to say, this bride arrived only 30 minutes late.

Aloysius on the other hand, is a very cool, calm and collective guy, pretty much like me I would say…. He was dressed in time, ready and waiting at the church for his beautiful bride to arrive.

I remember listening to the speeches on the night of the wedding, when they mentioned the amount of years (over 7 years) the couple have been together, and all I could think was it was about time these two tied the knot.

Aloysius and Zeno, congratulations on a beautiful wedding and being such a fun loving couple.  I know you’ll have many more happily married years together!

To my wife, Megan from Confetti Events, well done on an amazingly planned wedding! 

They were extremely blessed with a beautiful sunny day, and we managed to sneak into the harbour (legally might I add) where we got some beautiful photographs in front of the yacht club as well as the warehouses.

The Radisson Blu was beautifully made up in their vibrant wedding colours of cherry red and teal and the evening went off fantastic.

Pricilla & Xoli, thank you for allowing me to capture what was a truly memorable wedding for me, I know you’ll have many more happily married years together.

We were supposed to have a fun beach engagement shoot, and after postponing the shoot to the weekend after the original date the weather still did not play along.  We ended up in Goven Mbeki and even though we did not get to do the beach shoot, the photo’s we got were amazing.

I cannot wait to photograph this couple on 8 October 2011 when they tie the knot at the Havelock Square Holy Trinity Church followed by their reception at the beautiful Radisson Blu

What a lovely couple indeed.  Colin has this incredible sense of humour, and Monique has this soft personality but the two of them are a match made in heaven.

During our photoshoot I could see that Colin loved having a good time, he was making jokes and I ended up getting such incredibly natural shots of the two of them.

Thanks to the both of you for an amazing breakfast wedding I got to be a part of, I hope the photo’s exceed your expectations.

When I take photographs, I often like to try new things, and when I suggested an Urban type shoot for Jaimie’s matric farewell pictures they were happy to try something new and different.

So off we went to “downtown” Port Elizabeth.  The location was amazing, the lighting awesome and I truly feel that I managed to capture some truly unique photographs.

I had a lot of fun photographing both Jaimie and her partner, who turned out to be quite a model might I add!
